The National University of Modern Languages (NUML) was established in 1970 in Pakistan by Lieutenant General (Retd.) Khawaja Ziauddin Abbasi. It is chartered by the Government of Pakistan and recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

The main campus of NUML is situated in Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan. The university has modern facilities, including classrooms, libraries, computer labs, sports facilities, and student accommodation.
