COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI) is a public-sector university located in Islamabad, Pakistan. The university was established in 1998 by the COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI) organization, which is a public university in Pakistan. It is a multi-campus university with its principal seat located in Islamabad. Comsats were envisioned as Pakistan's first exclusive Institute of Information Technology organization founded by S. M. Junaid Zaidi.

The university is one of the leading universities in Pakistan with five (05) broad faculties including Engineering, Information Science and Technology, Business Administration, and Architecture and Design with more than 36,000 students and offering 100-degree programs.

The university is accredited by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) and Commission on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in the South, the Pakistan Engineering Council, and the Ministry of Science and Technology.

CUI has a modern campus with state-of-the-art facilities, including lecture halls, libraries, computer labs, and sports facilities. The university also has a dedicated career counseling and placement center, which helps students with career guidance and job placement after graduation.
