The HE Higher Education Rankings 2025 place Fatima Jinnah Medical University (FJMU) 58th out of 422 universities globally, demonstrating the university's continued prominence on the international scene.

Being ranked fifth nationally out of 28 Pakistani universities makes FJMU proud. FJMU's ranking as the top medical school in Pakistan is a testament to its commitment to quality in medical education, research, and healthcare innovation.

The whole faculty and staff, as well as the visionary leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. Khalid Masud Gondal and the tireless efforts of Director QEC Prof. Bilquis Shabbir and her committed team, which included Deputy Director QEC Bilal Baig, would not have been able to accomplish this remarkable achievement.

FJMU's ongoing pursuit of academic excellence and its contributions to the medical field were highlighted by its inclusion in the HE Rankings.

The university wants to express its appreciation to everyone who helped make this a success and guarantee that FJMU will continue to be a pioneer in medical research and education.

The most recent WUR 3.0 methodology, which employs 18 precisely calibrated factors to evaluate schools in five major areas—teaching, research environment, research quality, industry participation, and worldwide outlook—is the basis for the rankings.

2,092 universities are listed in the 2025 rankings, with 185 more than the year before. The 2,860 institutions that provided data resulted in a total of 472,694 data points.
