Introduction:
Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO), a State-Owned Enterprise (SOE), operates as a power distribution network delivering electricity to over 6.28 million customers across Lahore, Okara, Kasur, Sheikhupura, and Nankana. LESCO seeks a qualified and experienced professional for the key leadership role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This role offers an opportunity to play a pivotal part in driving financial growth, strategic planning, and ensuring efficient financial operations.

Job Description:

Develop and lead the financial team to maintain an effective financial control system. Oversee and manage the implementation of financial rules and regulations. Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations and legal frameworks. Conduct strategic planning for financial operations to ensure long-term financial stability. Supervise and manage company assets and liabilities. Provide timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis to support decision-making. Present sound financial performance and key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to the Board of Directors. Build a strong financial management system, including ERP implementation and automation. Liaise with stakeholders, including auditors, regulators, and other relevant authorities.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee LESCO’s overall financial operations and policies.
• Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations and government policies.
• Provide strategic financial planning and direction for sustainable growth.
• Contribute to implementing and improving ERP systems for automation.
• Present financial updates and reports to management and the Board of Directors.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Membership in a recognized body of professional accountants.
• At least 15 years of experience in government departments, large commercial corporations, or autonomous public/private companies.
• Expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and management.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Age limit: Up to 57 years at the closing date.
• Advanced knowledge of ERP systems and automation processes.
