Become a part of the National Centre for Brand Development (NCBD) – a key initiative under the Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives. NCBD is dedicated to strengthening Pakistan’s national brand and boosting exports. We invite applications from talented professionals for the following positions in Islamabad. All appointments are for 2 years (extendable).

1. Project Director (PPS-12)

Job Description:
Lead the NCBD with visionary planning, dynamic leadership, and a hands-on approach to achieve impactful and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives
  • Provide leadership to cross-functional teams
  • Monitor and evaluate project performance and results
  • Liaise with government and private stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven track record in project leadership and strategic execution
  • Strong communication and team management skills
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience

2. Account Officer (PPS-7)

Job Description:
Ensure accurate financial management, compliance with regulations, and timely reporting for all NCBD financial matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage budgets, reports, and audits
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions
  • Ensure compliance with public sector financial rules
  • Assist in procurement and contract reviews

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
  • At least 3 years of professional accounting experience
  • Familiarity with public sector financial procedures preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and financial accuracy

3. Admin Officer (PPS-6)

Job Description:
Support efficient administration, logistics, procurement, and coordination within NCBD operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day administrative operations
  • Manage procurement processes and vendor relations
  • Organize logistics for meetings and events
  • Maintain records and correspondence

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in administrative roles
  • Knowledge of government procurement and office procedures
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
