The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training's Federal Directorate of Education has announced a ground-breaking initiative to introduce evening shifts to schools throughout the Islamabad Capital Territory.
The initiative is a component of the larger "Enrolment, Retention, and Progression of Out-of-School Children in ICT" campaign.
According to officials, the initiative's main goal is to give kids who haven't been able to attend conventional day school alternatives for a variety of reasons.
Key components of the program, according to them, include activity-based learning, robotic labs for students to gain hands-on experience with modern technology, smart classrooms with interactive learning environments, well-stocked libraries offering a wealth of resources and a quiet place for study, qualified teachers to guarantee that children receive the best education, and modern facilities like IT labs.
The introduction of evening shifts, according to the officials, is a critical step towards inclusive education and will guarantee that all children in ICT, regardless of their circumstances, have access to high-quality instruction.
