Bahria University Announces Spring 2026 Admissions

Bahria University has announced admissions for 2026 session at it's main campus.
According to a university spokesperson, the admission process is to start as soon as possible, and students can apply online on the university website, bahria.edu.pk/admissions/

BZU launches 23 new programs, overcomes Rs670m deficit: VC
Bahauddin Zakaria University has not only overcome the crisis through significant reforms in the financial, academic, and administrative sectors during the past year but also opened new avenues for development.
The university is emerging from deficit and transforming into a functional and modern institution.
In this regard, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Zubair Iqbal, while talking to APP, said that the deficit of Rs. 670 million faced by the university has been overcome.
According to him, petrol savings of Rs. 90 million, income of Rs. 8 million from land lease, and a special grant of Rs. 530 million from the Punjab government are major achievements in the financial stability of the university.
He said that along with financial discipline, student convenience has also been the top priority.
For this purpose, an admission cell was established, transport facilities were improved, and a sports fair and a farmer's fair were organized to promote co-curricular activities of students.
Dr. Zubair Iqbal stated that the university has made significant progress in the field of education.
23 new educational programs have been started in the university, including modern fields like artificial intelligence and computer science.
According to him, the organization of 12 international conferences made the university prominent on the global stage, while giving practical importance to study centers and final year projects; better opportunities were provided to the students.
He added that the administrative and infrastructure sectors have also undergone reforms.
Steps like renovation of hostels, beautification of the main gate, and provision of canal water have been completed.
Along with this, projects like effective use of the university’s land and restoration of the animal farm have also been started.
According to the Vice Chancellor, ORIC, BIC, and DASR have been activated to promote research and innovation, while several MoUs have been signed with national and international institutions.
Alumni data has also been compiled so that the university can maintain better relations with its community.
These reforms at Bahauddin Zakaria University are proof that with the right direction and transparent strategy, institutions can not only overcome the crisis but also set new examples of development and quality.
