Applications for the 2025 Fulbright Scholar Program are currently being accepted, according to a statement from the United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP).
This esteemed program will choose around fifteen fellows for the 2025–2026 academic year.
Of these, two are intended for senior scholars who have finished their Ph.D. or terminal degree within the last 8–15 years, and the remaining 13 are intended for early-career faculty members and researchers with 5-7 years of experience.
The Fulbright Scholar Program offers, for a maximum of one year, opportunities for lectureships, postdoctoral research, or a combination of both at a college or university in the United States.
Selected academics will engage in intellectual and cultural exchanges with American students, colleagues, and community organizations, imparting their understanding of Pakistani society and customs.
It is the goal of Fulbright scholars that by sharing their American experiences with their academic and professional networks back in Pakistan, they will make a substantial contribution to the country's development.
Benefits of Grants
The program offers a comprehensive package that includes travel, incidental research allowance, living stipend, and health insurance.
It also covers the cost of applying for a visa and provides financial support for one accompanying dependent.
Eligibility Requirements
Academics, professionals, and artists in all fields—with the exception of clinical medicine—are encouraged to apply for the program.
