Sindh Signs Agreement to Deliver Digital Education Resources to Universities

The Google partner Tech Valley Pakistan will work with the provincial information science and technology department (ISTD) and the Sindh Higher Education Commission (SHEC) to provide universities with the digital tools they require to remain competitive in the modern workforce.
According to officials, the objective of this cooperative endeavor is to revolutionize education in Sindh and equip learners for future achievements.
The vice chancellors of thirty-two Sindh universities witnessed the signing of the collaboration agreement, which was also witnessed by Syed Murad Ali Shah, the chief minister of Sindh, who supported the initiative and emphasized the significance of implementing internationally recognized instruments to improve the standard of education in government universities.
The chief minister expressed his happiness at the collaboration between SHEC, the Sindh education department, and Tech Valley Pakistan. "This program is exactly in line with our government's goal of revolutionizing Sindh education.
We are giving our children the tools they need to compete globally and advance our province by providing them with the newest digital resources," the governor stated.
Thanks to this cooperation, colleges that fall within the SHEC's purview can use the Google for Education tool suite, which is utilized by 75% of the world's workforce.

Students, teachers, and staff will have access to several useful tools for communication and collaboration with Google Workspace for Education, including Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and more.
The Sindh IT secretary, Noor Ahmed Sammo, believes that this partnership is a big step in the right direction toward giving our students the digital skills they need to succeed in the workplace of the twenty-first century.
We are improving education and creating doors to opportunities around the world by giving students access to Google for Education resources. Dr. Tariq Rafi, the chairman of the SHEC, expressed his excitement about working with Google for Education and Tech Valley Pakistan to improve university education in Sindh.
He said that Google Workspace for Education provides a full array of technologies that will enable our teachers to give compelling instruction and set up our students for success.
