The Sub-Committee on Finance of the Sindh Cabinet, which is composed of Zia Lanjar and Nasir Hussain Shah, made the decision at a meeting.

The release of Rs1.27 billion to pay the Karachi Inter Board's outstanding debts was approved by the committee.

According to information presented to the conference, the Sindh government had previously issued Rs2.89 billion, but the total amount of student fees paid during that time was Rs4.16 billion, leaving Rs1.27 billion outstanding.

Based on information provided during the meeting, 1.213 million students took exams during the seven-year period, and 692,000 students enrolled with the board. Because of the government's intervention, these students will not be assessed fees in the past.
