Syed Murad Ali Shah, the chief minister of Sindh, launched a scholarship program for 30,000 students from 30 universities in the region.

Launched in partnership with Tech Valley and Google, the program seeks to equip students with digital knowledge and skills. Google Career Certificate courses, which may be finished online in three to six months, will be covered by the scholarships.

CM Murad Ali Shah stressed the government's dedication to advancing digital education and skills in Sindh during his remarks at the inaugural event. He stated his wish to ensure Sindhi students obtain top-notch instruction and training.

Shah added that the initiative will ensure at least 30% female involvement, thereby promoting gender inclusivity. "This partnership is a testament to our vision of transforming Sindh into a hub of innovation and skill development," Shah said.

No degree is necessary to earn the certifications, which were created by Google specialists and enable students to finish flexible online courses in as short as three to six months.

Previous cohorts' graduates have already found employment at prestigious companies, where they are reputedly paid up to Rs 1.6 million per month.

Along with new specializations like Prompting Essentials and Agile Essentials, the curriculum will spread over 30 public colleges. The continuous Kamyabi Sindh Program for Soft Skills & Career, which offers instruction in communication, interview techniques, and CV writing, is also enhanced by it.

The program demonstrates Google's dedication to assisting students in "unlocking new career opportunities and driving economic growth," according to Kyle Gardener, Government Affairs & Public Policy Lead at Google.
