The provincial government of Punjab has made the decision to reinstate eighth-grade board exams.

The Punjab Education Curriculum Training and Assessment Authority (Pecta) will administer grade 8 tests in this regard, according to Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat, and an action plan should be created within the next 30 days.

The Pecta Board of Governors met in this regard, presided over by Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat.
