The first week of September will be designated as a "Zero Week," according to the University of the Punjab, because of the country's continued harsh weather and massive flooding.
All academic activities will continue to be stopped from September 1 through September 7, the university registrar announced in a notification. To protect the security and welfare of children, teachers, and staff, the decision was made.
Departments will prioritize orientation meetings, housing assignments, and admissions procedures during this time. Meet-and-greet events will also be held by faculty and administration personnel to help students get back to campus.
Regular classes and exams will formally start on September 8, 2025, according to the announcement. The previously published academic calendar is unchanged, nevertheless. Additional classes could be held on Saturdays or online if needed to make up the difference.
