PM Shehbaz approves National Youth Employment Plan 2025

The National Youth Employment Plan was reviewed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who approved a plan to give young people market-driven skills through industry-driven vocational training programs.
The prime minister decided to personally oversee progress through monthly review meetings after the meeting, which outlined an action plan to offer training and employment opportunities over the next four years, according to a statement from the prime minister's office.
The government is dedicated to empowering Pakistan's youth through job opportunities and skill development, as Shehbaz Sharif highlighted that they are the nation's most valuable resource. Additionally, he spoke about efforts to increase the export of manpower by giving young Pakistanis internationally recognized training.
The prime minister gave officials instructions at the meeting to continue to work closely with regional businesses to make sure that training meets sectoral demands. Additionally, he directed the development of an extensive database to monitor talent needs in several businesses.
In order to increase their employability, officials informed the gathering that between 2.4 million and 6 million youth will undergo vocational training over the course of the next four years. The training programs are being developed with consideration for global worker requirements, industry demands, and market trends.
Additionally, the group was informed that the Digital Youth Hub is nearing completion and is anticipated to launch this month. The prime minister gave the departments and institutions engaged in carrying out the plan high marks for their efforts.
Federal Ministers Ahad Khan Cheema, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, Chairman of the Prime Minister's Youth Program, Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, Chairman of the Higher Education Commission, and other high-ranking officials attended the meeting.
