Under the direction of the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, the Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC) is getting ready to send assistant English language teachers to Japanese public schools.

Job Details

An official source claims that Japan needs thirty assistant English language teachers immediately. Applicants must be between the ages of 24 and 45, have a bachelor's degree or its equivalent, and have at least a year of experience. Applications are accepted from both male and female. The position is contract-limited, with a salary cap of 220,000 yen and free transportation. It will run from April 7, 2025, to March 24, 2026.

Application Requirements

Candidates must prove their financial stability, be fit for work (with a current medical certificate), and have no criminal records. After paying for the flights, they must have at least 600,000 yen in order to proceed with the Private Residence Track. To participate in the Shared Accommodation Track, you must have at least 300,000 yen.

Application Guidelines

Candidates must enclose a three-minute "self-introduction video" with their resume. By March 31, 2025, they must be able to go to their assigned places in Japan and be available for training sessions conducted by M/s Borderlink in Pakistan.

Residence and Preference

Candidates for the Private Residence Track will have to pay between two and three hundred thousand yen in advance for an apartment. They have to commit to sharing housing for the duration of the Shared Accommodation Track, starting on the commencement date. Those with a foundational understanding of Japanese and appropriate credentials, such as TESOL, TOEFL, CELTA, or local teaching certificates, will be given priority.
