IBA Announces Scholarships for Students From Gilgit Baltistan 2024-2025

Twenty Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) students can get scholarships through the "OGDCL-National Talent Hunt Program 2024" to attend Sukkur Institute of Business Administration (IBA) University for a four-year Bachelor of Science program.
At a seminar, Fareed Ahmed, the Secretary of Gilgit-Baltistan's (GB) Department of Higher Technical and Special Education, stressed that his department is working hard to effect positive change.
Part of a series of seminars in public sector colleges throughout GB, the seminar at Fatima Jinnah Govt. Degree College Gilgit was organized by Sukkur IBA University with the goal of spotting and developing talent.
Fareed Ahmed expressed appreciation for the Sukkur IBA management's commitment to enabling students in rural areas, highlighting the efforts of Additional Director Attaullah Jatoi and his team in particular.
Additionally, the seminar was well-received by staff and students, who expressed gratitude to Fareed Ahmed and the Sukkur IBA University team for their assistance.
Scholarships will only be given out based on merit, not on the gender, caste, color, or religion of the applicant.

The candidates are responsible for paying any additional expenses beyond those listed in Project PC-I; however, they are free to apply to any public sector university or institution in Pakistan.
In order to meet the qualifying conditions, applicants must have a Gilgit-Baltistan domicile or local certificate. However, it is required that the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or its equivalent be obtained by the individual.
