Job Description:
IT Support Specialists will be responsible for analyzing, troubleshooting, and evaluating technology issues. This role may support internal clients, helping to keep employees productive, or external customers of a company, assisting them via telephone or webchat.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot technological issues and solve problems quickly to ensure business operations run smoothly.
- Install all new technology for the company, including computer operating systems, software programs, applications, new desktops, and other computer hardware.
- Perform regular maintenance for phone systems, computer systems, printers, network systems, and any other technical equipment.
- Administer new user accounts, work email addresses, and access levels to new employees to ensure they have everything needed to work efficiently.
- Ensure computers are backed up so all files are saved in case of system crashes.
- Run security checks on all systems to ensure protection from cybersecurity threats.
Education Required:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in computer science / Information technology.
Requirements:
- 2 to 4 years of working experience.
- Proficiency in technical skills such as DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, Apache Installation, PHP Installation & Upgradation, Cat6 LAN Cable Installation & RJ45 Connectivity, Cisco Switch Installation & VLAN Information, Firewall Interfaces Installation & Failover Configuration.
- Experience with Amazon Dashboard Monitoring & Docker Creation is considered a plus.
