Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Procurement Officer to manage timely and cost-effective procurement for our Head Office and various project sites. This role involves end-to-end procurement cycle management in line with predefined SOPs, from receiving approved demands to final billing.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain procurement procedures as per company SOPs.
- Review BOQ, specifications, and drawings to gather necessary material information.
- Coordinate closely with engineering and site teams for accuracy in specifications, brand, and quantity.
- Conduct market analysis for competitive pricing and quality assurance.
- Ensure proper comparison of product rates and features.
- Negotiate and ensure favorable terms for all Purchase Orders.
- Oversee quality checks for all procured materials.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Procurement, Marketing, or a related field
- 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in procurement, preferably in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of local market vendors and materials
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement management systems (e.g., Wizmen)
- Ability to read and interpret BOQs, technical drawings, and specifications
