Job Description:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving business growth within the company by developing a network of contacts to attract new clients, researching new market opportunities, and overseeing growth projects. This role includes making sales projections and forecasting revenue, aligning with projected income goals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a growth strategy focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
- Promote the company’s products/services, addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
- Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
- Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices, etc.
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Develop entry-level staff into valuable salespeople.
- Conduct outbound calls to potential clients to introduce software services.
- Identify decision-makers and initiate conversations to understand their business needs.
- Present and promote software solutions to prospects.
- Qualify leads and schedule meetings for the sales team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in cold calling, telemarketing, or a similar sales role.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to build rapport quickly with potential clients.
- Understanding of the software development industry or technical products is a plus.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and best practices in lead management.
- Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
- Must have IT background.
