Institute of Space Technology (IST) is a premier public university located in Islamabad, Pakistan. Institute of Space Technology (IST) was founded by Dr. Abdul Sattar Alvi in 2002. IST is recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). 

IST offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in space science, aerospace engineering, communication systems, remote sensing, and other related fields. The institute maintains strong linkages with the space industry and offers internships and career opportunities for its graduates.
