FUUAST was established in 2002 under the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science, and Technology Act, 2002. It was formed by merging two older Urdu-medium universities: the Federal Urdu Arts College, Karachi, and the Federal Urdu Science College, Karachi. It is affiliated with HEC.
FUUAST offers a diverse array of undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate programs in various disciplines. These programs include arts, humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, computer science, management sciences, and more.
