A research fellowship program for students, academics, and institutions in Mauritania has been announced by the OIC Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH).

The purpose of this initiative is to improve scientific capacity and fortify Pakistan-Mauritania relations.

These research fellowships, according to an official source, are a component of the collaborative Science and Technology Capacity Building Program, which was started in association with the National Agency for Scientific Research and Innovation of Mauritania.

COMSTECH-Mauritania Program

Under the COMSTECH-Mauritania Program, Mauritania's young researchers and early-career scientists will have the chance to spend six months at centers of excellence in other OIC member states, especially in Pakistan.

Applying for Research Fellowships under the COMSTECH-Mauritania Program will give young researchers and early-career scientists and engineers in Mauritania the opportunity to spend six months at a relevant center of excellence in several OIC member states, most notably Pakistan.

These fellowships aim to provide early-career support to promising Mauritanianian researchers and engineers by strengthening their capacities for research and development and helping them establish connections for potential future collaboration in their disciplines.
