Aiding Cheating Staff Removed in KP
Nearly 70 supervisory staff members were fired from the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education in Peshawar for their carelessness in their jobs, which included encouraging and assisting cheating during the most recent matriculation exams.
In addition to three private schools losing their board affiliation, these instances were forwarded to the disciplinary committee for additional action.
The education board's secretary, Mehdi Jan Khan briefed reporters that efforts were underway to eradicate cheating and administer transparent exams in a pleasant setting, in accordance with the vision of chief secretary Shahab Ali Shah.
The actions taken to eradicate cheating and the cheating mafia, they claimed, were producing notable benefits.
According to Mehdi Jan, the disciplinary committee has been tasked with taking additional action in the cases of 70 supervisory staff members who were dismissed thus far due to allegations of carelessness in their work and assistance in cheating.
He claimed that because of collaboration between the exam professionals and their administrations, three schools' connection with the board had been revoked after allegations of cheating and copying were received after the allotted time.
These schools included Mohmand Grammar School in Yakkaghund, Khyber Model School and College for Girls, and Kids Garden in Nothia, Peshawar.
Staff members should keep the exam rooms orderly and eradicate all forms of disruption and cheating, he urged.
