Last year, there was a notable influx of students from top private schools into public sector institutions, which is evidence of the government's revolutionary efforts to improve standards and close the gap between public and private education.

In an exclusive interview, Professor Sabah Faisal, the principal of Islamabad College for Girls (ICG), F-6/2, gave this information.

As she described how the school went from being a little junior school in 1968 with just 64 students to being a prestigious educational institution serving around 6,000 girls, Sabah Faisal's enthusiasm for the institution was evident.

Our school is a haven for our children, not merely a place to learn.

"Knowing their daughters are in a safe, supportive environment, parents feel secure sending them here," she continued.

According to Professor Faisal, this expansion is a result of the government's dedication to supporting female education.

When the government prioritizes giving girls access to high-quality education in safe settings, establishments like ours thrive.

Our goal is to maintain that trust by giving our students chances to succeed.

The principal underlined how crucial it is to get pupils ready for a world that is changing quickly.

We want our students to leave with the abilities necessary to support themselves financially.

With the help of government reforms, our young people—particularly girls—will have the resources they require to thrive.

The Software Technology Park, also known as the e-Rozgar Centre, is one of ICG's noteworthy projects.

In a secure, solar-powered room with free high-speed internet, this facility—which was created in partnership with the Pakistan Software Export Board—enables students to investigate entrepreneurship, manage small enterprises, and interact with clients.
