Job Description:

The Vice Chancellor will serve as the principal executive and academic officer of Punjab Tianjin University of Technology (PTUT), Lahore. The role involves promoting teaching, research, and publications while ensuring effective administration and leadership of the university. The Vice Chancellor will be responsible for academic excellence, strategic planning, policy implementation, and fostering a research-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the university as the chief executive and academic officer.
• Promote teaching, research, and publications.
• Ensure smooth administration and policy implementation.
• Provide visionary leadership to enhance academic excellence.
• Develop strategies for university growth and innovation.
• Maintain strong relations with academic bodies and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with HEC and government policies.
• Represent the university at national and international forums.

Requirements:

Education:

• Ph.D. from an HEC-recognized or UNESCO-listed institution.

Experience:

• Extensive experience in a senior academic, research, or management leadership position.
• Proven record of distinguished research and publications.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a university or higher education institution.

Other Requirements:

• Maximum age limit: 65 years (as of the last application submission date).
• Must submit an NOC from the current employer before the interview (if applicable).
