Al-Azhar University of Egypt to establish campus in Pakistan

Al-Azhar University prominent and recognized Islamic teaching institute is set to open it's campus in Pakistan.
It will help students in learning Arabic so they may comprehend the authentic teachings of Islam.
The establishment of an Al-Azhar University campus in Pakistan was announced by Grand Mufti of Egypt Dr. Nazir Mohamed Ayad at the request of Federal Education Minister Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui.
The minister and his group met with a delegation headed by the Grand Mufti of Egypt, which included Dr. Ihab Mohamed Abdelhamid Hassan, the Egyptian ambassador to Pakistan.
Al-Azhar University is one of the ardent advocates for women's education, according to the Grand Mufti.
In order to strengthen ties between the two nations, he said, the institution will spread Arabic culture as well as Islamic teachings through its campus in Pakistan.
Dr. Ayad stated that over 40% of the students at Al-Azhar University were female, and that Pakistan ought to send scholars to Egypt to get knowledge from the teachings and experience of one of the world's oldest universities.
Egypt and Pakistan have a close cultural and Islamic relationship, according to the education ministry. According to him, the two nations boast some of the world's oldest civilizations.
As per him, Al-Azhar University is extremely significant to the Islamic world. He claimed that the idea that Islam forbids women from receiving an education was untrue. All men and women should receive an education, according to Islam.
He claimed that guaranteeing equal educational opportunities for women was a top priority for the Pakistani government.
According to the minister, Egypt and Pakistan ought to strengthen their collaboration and endeavors to advance girls' education.
The ministry would offer whatever assistance possible to develop the Al-Azhar campus, according to Secretary of Education Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani.
According to him, more than two thousand female students from Pakistani colleges and universities have been invited to the girls conference.
A day prior to the commencement of the conference, Pakistan's leading religious experts convened at the Jinnah Convention Centre on Friday to deliberate on "Islamic Ideology for Education." They unanimously advocated for girls' education in accordance with Islamic principles.
