A-level Classes in Govt Colleges Announced by Sindh Education Minister

Syed Sardar Ali Shah, the minister of education for Sindh, revealed on Wednesday that the provincial administration intended to start offering A-level courses in a few public colleges around the province.
Speaking during a ceremony to deliver offer letters to 833 new teachers who cleared the Sindh Public Service Commission's (SPSC) exams, he made this announcement.
The minister, who was the principal guest, emphasized the importance of a college degree in students' lives and said that the A-level classes will give all students—especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds—more possibilities to advance.
Speaking on Sindh's 374 government colleges, the minister emphasized the value of educating students from disadvantaged communities and stated that teaching should be viewed as a duty rather than merely a job.
This time, Asif Ikram, the secretary of college education, revealed that 1,659 open posts had been forwarded to the SPSC, which suggested 1,357 qualified applicants, of whom 833 received offer letters following their verification.
Seven subjects received offer letters: computer science (282), Sindhi (219), botany (119), mathematics (106), statistics (80), chemistry (14), and psychology (13).
