Eligibility

Botany
  • Candidates shall have MS/MPhil or 18-year education in the relevant subject with CGPA at least 3.00 (out of 4.00 in the Semester System) or 1" division (in the Annual System) from HEC recognized University/Degree Awarding Institution.
  • Candidates are required to pass the GAT (Subject) test conducted by ETC(HEC) OR NTS by obtaining at least 60% marks or International GRE (subject) with minimum 60% score prior to admission.
  • Candidates who do not have valid GAT (Subject) must obtain at least 70% marks in the test arranged by the University of Swat.
  • The candidates who qualify the test will require to obtain 60% passing marks in departmental interview.
Biotechnology
  • Candidates shall have MS/MPhil or 18-year education in the relevant subject with CGPA at least 3.00 (out of 4.00 in the Semester System) or 1" division (in the Annual System) from HEC recognized University/Degree Awarding Institution.

How to Register

Application Process:

  • For online apply visit www.uswat.edu.pk, Enter apply online on main page at the top and click on NEW REGISTRATION. Enter all the details, along with user name and password, after submission of these details, an email will be sent to you with your ID and PASSWORD.
  • Go to the ONLINE ADMISSIONS select Main Campus and enter REGISTRATION NO and PASSWORD emailed to you.
  • Applicant should scan his/her documents for attachment in the online application form.
  • The applicant must upload a scanned copy of bank slip OR e-receipt of admission processing fee to the online application form as an attachment. The online application form will not be considered for further admission process in case of non-submission/ uploading of the bank deposit slip or e-receipt within the stipulated time.
  • Incomplete application forms and those received after due date will not be considered.
  • Candidates employed in any Government or Semi-Government Department(s)/Organization(s) must submit No Objection Certificate for full study duration Department(s)/Organization(s) within 30 days after initial selection, failing which the selection will be deemed to have lapsed.
  • Original documents shall be presented at the time of interview before the concerned Admission Committee.
  • No separate call letter will be issued as offer for admission, interview and Fee deposit. The information will be displayed on the Notice Board of the concerned Department/Institute and University website.
  • The University of Swat reserves the right to modify/revise/drop any of the above Program as and when desire.
