Physics	Minimum CGPA 3.0 (out of 4.0 in the Semester System) or First Division (in the Annual System) in MPhil/Equivalent is required.
Computer Science	For admission into the PhD minimum CGPA 3.0 (out of 4.0 in the Semester System) or First Division (in the Annual System) in MPhil/MS/ Equivalent is required.
Botany	Minimum CGPA 3.0 (out of 4.0 in the Semester System) or First Division (in the Annual System) in MPhil/Equivalent is required.
Electrical Engineering	Minimum CGPA 3.0 (out of 4.0 in the Semester System) or First Division (in the Annual System) in MPhil/Equivalent is required.
Biotechnology	Minimum CGPA 3.0 (out of 4.0 in the Semester System) or First Division (in the Annual System) in MPhil/Equivalent is required.
Chemistry	Minimum CGPA 3.0 (out of 4.0 in the Semester System) or First Division (in the Annual System) in MPhil/Equivalent is required.
Management Sciences	Minimum 60% marks in annual system or CGPA 3.0 (out of 4.0 in the Semester System) or First Division (60% in the Annual System) in MPhil/MS/Equivalent degree is required. Student with an MBA or MS degree without project/thesis can apply for admission into PhD but will undertake some research work or take some research-related courses before or during the early stages of PhD program. GAT Subject/ equivalent level of test conducted by NTS or other test conducting agency as per rules of the University.
Islamic Studies	Minimum CGPA 3.0 (out of 4.0 in the Semester System) or First Division (in the Annual System) in MPhil/Equivalent is required.
Education	Minimum CGPA 3.0 (out of 4.0 in the Semester System) or First Division (in the Annual System) in MPhil/Equivalent is required.

How to Register

Application Process:

• All the candidates shall apply online on university website: www.ustb.edu.pk
• With application processing fee rupees. 1000/- for MS/MPhil/MBA Programs.
• In case of Government Employee NOC must be Provided.
• On visiting https://admissions.ustb.edu.pk/ (site is accessible at time of admissions only) for filling the application form, the candidates will be allotted a password to access the application form.
• Select discipline carefully, after the submission of application the program and number of disciplines applied for will not change.
• Candidates can apply for maximum THREE disciplines through single registration. (Phd/MS/MPhil students can apply for maximum ONE discipline)
• Engineering students are encouraging to make separate apply for Non-Engineering Programs.
• If both the percentage and CGPA are mentioned on Bachelors/ Masters Degree/ Transcript, then only the CGPA will be entered.
• Candidates, whose final results have not yet been announced, will enter the earned percentage/ CGPA of the last year/term/ semester.
• Candidates can deposit the fee online against 14 digit Challan Number, via searching for Kuickpay in any net banking app (EasyPisa, JazzCash, UBL , ABL , etc).
• The candidates are advised to avoid any misrepresentation of facts, as doing so may lead to the cancellation of their candidature / admission at any stage.

• Attested copy of mark sheet of SSC/equivalent.
• Attested copy of mark sheet of HSSC/equivalent.
• Attested copy of mark sheet of Bachelors Degree.
• Attested copy of mark sheet of MS/MPhil Degree.
• 4 recent colored photographs (Passport size).
• Attested copy of National Identity Card.
• Work experience proof (where required)
