Eligibility

MPhil (Chemistry)
  • Sixteen years of education or equivalent degree (minimum 120 credit hours) in the relevant discipline from any HEC-recognized university with a CGPA of at least 2.50 on a scale of 4.00 (semester system) or 50% marks (annual system), as per HEC rules.
  • The candidate must submit a valid GAT/GRE (General)/ HAT-II or qualify an equivalent test to be conducted by the University with at least 50% score for admission.

MS (Business Administration)
  • Sixteen years of education or equivalent degree (minimum 120 credit hours) in the relevant discipline from any HEC-recognized university with a CGPA of at least 2.50 on a scale of 4.00 (semester system) or 50% marks (annual system), as per HEC rules.
  • The candidate must submit a valid GAT/GRE (General)/ HAT-II or qualify an equivalent test to be conducted by the University with at least 50% score for admission.

MPhil (Balochi)
  • Sixteen years of education or equivalent degree (minimum 120 credit hours) in the relevant discipline from any HEC-recognized university with a CGPA of at least 2.50 on a scale of 4.00 (semester system) or 50% marks (annual system), as per HEC rules.
  • The candidate must submit a valid GAT/GRE (General)/ HAT-II or qualify an equivalent test to be conducted by the University with at least 50% score for admission.

MBA (Evening) 1.5 years
  • For MBA (2.5 years), sixteen years of education in any discipline from a HEC-recognized university with a CGPA of at least 2.50 on a scale of 4.00 (semester system) or 50% marks (annual system), as per HEC rules.
  • The candidate must submit a valid GAT/GRE (General)/ HAT-II or qualify an equivalent test to be conducted by the University with at least 50% score for admission.

MBA (Evening) 2.5 years
  • For MBA (2.5 years), sixteen years of education in any discipline from a HEC-recognized university with a CGPA of at least 2.50 on a scale of 4.00 (semester system) or 50% marks (annual system), as per HEC rules.
  • The candidate must submit a valid GAT/GRE (General)/ HAT-II or qualify an equivalent test to be conducted by the University with at least 50% score for admission.

MPhil (English Literature)
  • Sixteen years of education or equivalent degree (minimum 120 credit hours) in the relevant discipline from any HEC-recognized university with a CGPA of at least 2.50 on a scale of 4.00 (semester system) or 50% marks (annual system), as per HEC rules.
  • The candidate must submit a valid GAT/GRE (General)/ HAT-II or qualify an equivalent test to be conducted by the University with at least 50% score for admission.

M.Phil (Biochemistry)
  • Sixteen years of education or equivalent degree (minimum 120 credit hours) in the relevant discipline from any HEC-recognized university with a CGPA of at least 2.50 on a scale of 4.00 (semester system) or 50% marks (annual system), as per HEC rules.
  • The candidate must submit a valid GAT/GRE (General)/ HAT-II or qualify an equivalent test to be conducted by the University with at least 50% score for admission.

How to Register

Application Process:

  • Apply online https://uot.edu.pk/admission-portal/login. Admission forms can be obtained from the Admission Cell, University of Turbat, or can be downloaded from the UoT website www.uot.edu.pk/admissions
  • Create an account before you can submit an application for the programs offered at UoT. Click on the Register button to open the registration page.
  • Make sure to complete your personal and academic information after registering and activating your account.
  • Please make sure that the information you provide on the account registration page is correct and verified by your previous institution/board.
  • After you create your account an email with a verification link will be sent to your email address that you have provided at the time of registration.

Documents Required:

  • A recent passport size photo of the applicant with a white background. The photo should not be scanned, it should be taken from a camera.
  • Pay the admission fee by filling out the bank challan and depositing it to the HBL branch of UoT. You can get the bank challan from the HBL Uot branch.
  • Scan these documents:
  • Deposited bank challan
  • Transcript of all previous qualifications from Metric/SSC
  • An affidavit. This will be submitted in-person at the time of confirmation of the admission.
  • Candidates coming from other universities will need to submit the Migration Certificate in original at the time of admission.
