Eligibility Criteria

Postgraduate Programs Eligibility:

Program

Eligibility
PhD Food Science and Technology
  • 18 years of education, i.e M. Phil/Six years education after HSSC/F. Sc Grade 12 equivalent in relevant subject with CGPA 3.0.
  • A candidate with Masters (foreign) degree shall be required to obtain equivalence letter from HEC, stating his/her eligibility for admission into Ph. D program.
  • Specific eligibility criteria shall also be applicable for admissions as per HEC rules like NTS/Subject GRE.
  • One-page research proposal shall be accompanied by application form.
PhD Management Science
  • 18 years of education, i.e M. Phil/Six years education after HSSC/F. Sc Grade 12 equivalent in relevant subject with CGPA 3.0.
  • A candidate with Masters (foreign) degree shall be required to obtain equivalence letter from HEC, stating his/her eligibility for admission into Ph. D program.

How to Register

Admission Guidelines:

  • Admission Form can only be submitted online.
  • The Admission fee of Rupees. 1500/- can be paid in any branch of HBL. Bank challan can be generated after submission of the application form at admissions.kiu.edu.pk
  • Before to start online filling, please keep scan photograph and documents and the other information ready.
  • Preferably use Computer or Laptop for filling the form.
  • To submit the form maximum time limit is 10 minutes.
  • Photograph maximum size = 700KB
  • SSC and HSSC maximum size = 1MB each
  • Have to fill all the form either by typing or selection from given choices or check box.
  • After successfully submission of the Admission Form, applicant will get SMS on given mobile number
  • Candidates are advised to keep on checking the KIU website for the eligibility criteria, date of interview, fee deposit other updates regarding admissions at Main Campus.
  • Applications for quota seats (Armed Forces) will be received through proper channel (AGs Branch, WR Dte, General Headquarters, Rawalpindi).
  • KIU offers scholarships on merit and need basis, financial rewards for toppers, fee discounts for siblings, etc.
  • No separate call letters will be issued.
