| Arabic (Literature and Linguistics) |
- B.A. (Hons)/BS-(4 years) Arabic from IIU, 2-M.A. (Arabic) from IIU (2 years), 3-M.A (Arabic) from other Universities with minimum CGPA 2.50/4.00 in semester system or 60% marks in annual system. 4. Shahadah-tul-Almiyah from recognized Wafaqs’ Board with 60% marks along with Equivalence Certificate from HEC. However, S. No.3&4 will have to study two semesters preparatory courses to enhance their skill to understand regular subjects of the program.

- BS. Translation & Interpretation/equivalent degree (16 years education) with minimum CGPA 2.50/4.00 in semester system or 60% marks in the annual system. OR
- BS Arabic, Islamic Studies/LLB Shariah& Law/equivalent degree (16 years education) with minimum CGPA 2.50/4.00 in semester system or 60% marks in annual system, with Proficiency in Arabic and English. OR
- M.A/MSC /equivalent degree (16 years education) with minimum CGPA 2.50/4.00 in semester system or 60% marks in annual system with proficiency in Arabic and English.
- Note: Candidates with qualifications No. (b & c) will have to study preparatory/deficiency courses prescribed by the Department to enhance their knowledge about the field.

- 16 Years Graduate Degree in MBA/BBA/BBA-ITM/ACCA/CA or equivalent in the relevant field with CGPA 2.5/4.00 or 60% marks from Annual from a recognized institution.

| Project Management |
- All candidates with 16 Years education from an HEC recognized university will be eligible to take admission in this program with CGPA 2.5/4.00 or 60% marks from Annual/Conventional System where CGPA is not calculated or 65% marks in the semester system examination, where CGPA is not mentioned on terminal degree/transcript.

| Environmental Science |
- MS / M. Phil in Environmental Science (02) Years degree program or relevant disciplines with research thesis and minimum 3.00/4.00 CGPA or 65% marks in annual system.
- The successful candidates applying from relevant disciplines like Agricultural Sciences, Biological Sciences, Botany/ Zoology, Chemistry, Forestry, Soil Sciences, Wildlife and Earth Sciences (Geography, Geology, GIS, Geophysics, and Metrology etc.) will have to pass prerequisite courses of MS Environmental Science (Non-Credit).

| Media and Communication Studies |

| Sociology |
- MA/M.Sc./ BS (4 years) in Sociology/Rural Sociology/Urban Sociology, Gender Studies, Women Studies, Social Work, Development Studies, Population Studies/Demography Criminology, Anthropology, History, Pakistan Studies and other relevant discipline with minimum CGPA 2.5/4,00 in semester system or 60% marks in annual system. The students of other than sociology/ Rural Sociology/ Urban Sociology will take deficiency courses to meet the requirements of MS Sociology.
