Eligibility Criteria

PhD Eligibility Criteria:

Peace and Conict Studies	MPhil/MS or equivalent (17/18 years of education) in a relevant discipline from an HEC recognized institution. A minimum of a 1st division in the annual system or a 3.0/4.0 CGPA in the semester system in the last degree is required. Additionally, passing the NDU-GAT (Subject) or a valid result of NTS-GAT (Subject) is mandatory.
International Relations	MPhil/MS or equivalent (17/18 years of education) in a relevant discipline from an HEC recognized institution. A minimum of a 1st division in the annual system or a 3.0/4.0 CGPA in the semester system in the last degree is required. Additionally, passing the NDU-GAT (Subject) or a valid result of NTS-GAT (Subject) is mandatory.
Leadership and Management Studies	MPhil/MS or equivalent (17/18 years of education) in a relevant discipline from an HEC recognized institution. A minimum of a 1st division in the annual system or a 3.0/4.0 CGPA in the semester system in the last degree is required. Additionally, passing the NDU-GAT (Subject) or a valid result of NTS-GAT (Subject) is mandatory.

How to Register

Application Process:

• Ensure you have valid email ID before applying.
• Ensure timely submission of Admission Application Form available at https://admissions.ndu.edu.pk/ui/app/signin.aspx  
• Upload all educational/equivalence documents in PDF format along with Online Admission Form.
• Submit hard copy of Admission Form (system generated printout) along with educational documents in Admission Office (within 1 week of online application submission).
• Upload copy of fee voucher of admission processing fee Rupees. 2000/- (Non-Refundable) duly deposited in any branch of HBL.
• Entry Test for BS applicants and NDU-GAT (General/Subject) for MPhil and PhD applicants as Computer Based Test (CBT) will be held on scheduled dates (mentioned on NDU website) at the NDU Campus.
• GRE, HAT and GAT-General and Subject conducted by NTS with 50% & 60% score respectively be accepted in MPhil and PhD Programs.
• USAT conducted by Education Testing Council (ETC) with 50% score will be accepted in BS Programs at NDU.
• NDU GAT (G) fee: Rupees. 1000/- for MPhil and PhD Candidates having relevant academic background/discipline.
• NDU GAT (S) fee: Rupees. 2000/- for MPhil and PhD Candidates having irrelevant academic background/discipline.
• Statement of Purpose and Research Proposal submission at the time of online application submission is mandatory.
• Prospective Candidates may interact with the relevant Dept / potential supervisor.
• Result Awaiting applicants must submit HOPE CERTIFICATE duly issued from competent authority of respective last attended institution/board.
• Transfer of Credit Hours applications (if any) must be submitted to Admission Office after securing admission.
• Foreign Candidates must pay their Fee in USD as per fee structure available at https://ndu.edu.pk/finance.php
  
• Government Employees must attach NOC from their respective department/organization.
• Government Employees must select the category as Govt Employee while applying through online system. Provision of NOC duly issued by the competent authority of respective dept/ organization is the sole responsibility of the applicant.
