How to Register

Application Process:

• Apply online.
• Login, fill in, and submit the online application form.
• Upload a recent color photograph. (Blue Background)
• Optionally apply online for scholarship or loan.
• Candidates can apply online for Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF), Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Financial Assistance (Interest-Free Loan). The remaining scholarships can be applied for after joining the Institute. The continuation of scholarships is dependent on the satisfactory academic performance of the concerned student and the policies of the donor agencies.
• Print the bank challan. (Processing Fee: Rupees. 3,500 for a single test and Rupees. 5,000 for both tests, add Rupees. 1000 if applying for Financial assistance.)
• Make payment in the Bank and Fill in your profile's paid bank challan details.
• Reach the test center with your Admit Card, original Matric/O-Level Certificate, and Paid challan GIK Copy on the date and time printed on your Admit Card.
• Check entry test results online.
• Send check-listed documents to the admission office in case of admission is offered.
• Keep visiting your profile for any updates before and after the Entry Test.
• The following materials must be submitted along with the application form for admission:
• Send a printed copy of online application form along with the following supporting material (obtain from the website).
• Original receipt of application processing fee Rupees. 3,500/- (nonrefundable) drawn on any online branch of Habib Bank Ltd. A/C No. 19790000085901.
• Attested copy of the result card: GRE/HAT Test (if any).
• Attested copies of:
• O-Level/SSC Certificate and DMC
• A-Level/HSSC Certificate and DMC
• BSc/BS Degree and Transcript MS/MPhil Degree and Transcript (For PhD applicants only)
• Two letters of recommendation: signed by the referee (class teacher of the last Institution attended) to vouch for the applicant's academic record and performance.

• Statement of purpose: A one-page summary outlining the applicant's previous research and/or his/her practical experience.
• He/she should also indicate his/her academic and research interests at GIK Institute and work interests after getting his/her degree.
• Research proposal (for PhD Applicants only)
• Application will not be processed if it is late, Incomplete, or unaccompanied by any of the above-mentioned document(s).
• Use only A-4 size paper for all documents.
• Clip all documents in the above-mentioned order.
• Do not staple or fold any document. Use a proper paper clip and an A-4 envelope.
• Mention the application for MS/PhD with the name of the degree program on top of the envelope.
