Eligible candidates must apply online to appear in the computer-based Pre-Admission Test starting from the last week of June 2025 at MUET, Jamshoro. A second optional test will be offered for candidates who wish to improve their score, missed, or failed the first test. The best score from either test will be considered for merit.

Note:

• The candidates who have switched their group between Pre-Engineering and Pre-Medical, or vice versa are required to upload their slips (provided by the controller of the pertinent education board, as proof) and an affidavit (specimen available on the Admissions Website) on the Admission Portal.
• The computation of CPN for candidates, will depend on the HSC-I examination marks.
• Furthermore, the pre-admission test for such candidates will align with their preferred group. Once they have taken the test within their chosen group, they will only be eligible for admission in disciplines relevant to that group, and no subsequent group changes will be allowed under any circumstances.

How to Register

Application Process:

• The candidate shall apply for admission online by registering on MUET Online Admission Portal at ugadmissions.muet.edu.pk from April 14, 2025. The candidate shall pay admission registration fee through fee challan generated by the MUET Online Admission Portal, which shall be deposited in MUET HBL CMD-A/C. No. 00427991903403 through any branch of Habib Bank Ltd., HBL Mobile App, HBL Internet Banking. The candidate has to upload the scanned copies of paid challan (or online payment receipt), original marks certificates (SSC and HSC-I/II/DAE/Equivalent), recent photograph, domicile, PRC (C-form), and CNIC / B-form up to May 10, 2025.

Pre Admission Test:

• All eligible candidates shall appear in the 1st computer-based Pre-Admission Entry Test at Mehran University of Engineering & Technology (MUET), Jamshoro starting from last week of June 2025.
• The University shall also offer the 2nd computer-based Pre-Admission Entry Test for those eligible registered candidates, who wish to improve their test score/remained absent/failed in the 1st Test.
• The 2nd Test is optional and candidate has to pay pre-admission test fee to reappear in the 2nd Test.
• The best test score of the 1st and 2nd tests shall be considered for determination of merit.
• Admit Slips for Pre-Admission Test(s) will be issued online through Online Admission Portal and the same shall be produced by the candidates at the time of the test along with their original CNIC.
• Successfully passing the Pre-Admission Test does not guarantee admission in the University.
• Candidates failing in Pre-Admission Test shall be disqualified from admission.

Important Note:

• For interviews, candidates must bring original and one set of photocopies of SSC and HSC (Part I/II) or equivalent marksheets, CNIC/B-Form, Domicile, and PRC.
• Those who changed groups must also provide their Admit Slip and affidavit.
• Missing documents will lead to disqualification from the interview. MUET will retain original documents for at least one year after admission.
