Eligibility Criteria

PhD Eligibility Criteria:

Program	Eligibility
PhD Biochemistry	Those who have already completed their MPhil or equivalent qualifications. The candidate need to provide equivalence from PMDC can apply for PhD Program provided they have = 3.0 CGPA in Semester System and 1st Division in Annual Examination. Medical Graduate from one of the recognized Medical University/College shown in schedule I and II of Pakistan Medical and Dental Council Act will be eligible for the Admission. MBBS with One Year Resident House job in a PMDC recognized Teaching Institution and valid registration with PMDC as Medical and Dental Practitioner. Valid Registration with PMDC as Medical Practitioner will be required. Foreign Graduates will have to produce equivalence of their degree from PMDC. A subject/Discipline Entry Test (Computer Based) will be conducted by Postgraduate Medical Centre, LUMHS Jamshoro. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed Age Limit: The Private candidates should be under 40 years and In-service candidate should not be more than 45 years of age.

How to Register

Application Process:

• The candidates have to deposit non-refundable fees (application processing and entry test/Examination) of PKR. 75000/- for PhD Program and PKR. 7500/- for MSPH courses.
• An online challan available at the University websitewww.lumhs.edu.pk
• The University reserves the right to cancel all advertised courses partly or as a whole.
• The Postgraduate Directorate however reserves the right of any modification in the schedule/ course due to unforeseen circumstances.
• The University reserves the right to change the rules and regulations for Postgraduate studies from time to time.
• The Postgraduate selection committee reserves the right to cancel any admission.
• In service Candidates will have to obtain no objection certificate from their employer for applying in Postgraduate courses; however they can send a copy in advance along with relevant documents.
• No separate call letters will be sent to the candidate for entry test/interviews, candidates are advised to visit the website for further updates.
• Incomplete application forms in any manner will not be entertained.
• In-eligible candidates will not be allowed to appear in entry test/examination.
