Eligibility Criteria

BS Eligibility Criteria:

Program	Eligibility
Chemical Engineering	At least 60% marks or equivalent in both Matriculation/O-level and Intermediate (HSSC Part I/II)/A-level or equivalent examinations with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics HSSC (Pre-Engineering.) OR Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science HSSC (ICS) as major subjects for admission to BS Engineering Programs. Candidates who have taken additional paper of Mathematics with HSSC (Pre-Medical) background are also eligible to apply for Engineering Programs. Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) holders, are also eligible as per PEC policy, in BS Engineering programs. Those waiting for their results may also apply. However, the intermediate/A-level or equivalent result with at least 60% marks or equivalent is required at the time of joining the BS program.
Computer and Information Sciences	At least 60% marks or equivalent in both Matriculation/O-level and Intermediate (HSSC Part I/II)/A-level or equivalent examinations with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics HSSC (Pre-Engineering.) OR Physics, Chemistry and Biology HSSC (Pre-Medical) OR Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science HSSC (ICS) as major subjects for admission to BS Computer and Information Sciences. HSSC students with Mathematics under Science General Group are eligible for BS Computer and Information Sciences program. Those waiting for their results may also apply. However, the intermediate/A-level or equivalent result with at least 60% marks or equivalent is required at the time of joining the BS program. This year HSSC students with Mathematics under General Science Group are also eligible to apply for BS CIS program.
Electrical Engineering	At least 60% marks or equivalent in both Matriculation/O-level and Intermediate (HSSC Part I/II)/A-level or equivalent examinations with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics HSSC (Pre-Engineering.) OR Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science HSSC (ICS) as major subjects for admission to BS Engineering Programs. OR Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science HSSC (ICS) as major subjects for admission to BS Engineering Programs. Candidates who have taken additional paper of Mathematics with HSSC (Pre-Medical) background are also eligible to apply for Engineering Programs. Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) holders, are also eligible as per PEC policy, in BS Engineering programs. Those waiting for their results may also apply. BS Ineligibility Criteria:

• Anyone having any of the following deficiencies is not eligible for admission at PIEAS:
• Having less than 60% marks in SSC or HSSC Part-I/II or both.
• Having less than 60% marks in O/A level as per equivalence certificate issued by IBCC.
• Failed/not appeared in any subject in HSSC Part-I/II.

How to Register

Application Process:

• After advertisement in National Daily newspapers, the aspiring applicants shall visit PIEAS admission websitehttp://admissions.pleas.edu.pk for updated information and to access PIEAS Admission Portal
• An applicant shall create an account (against his/ her CNIC) on PIEAS admissions web portal and fill application form data online.
• No application shall be entertained in hard copy form.
• Need Based Financial Support Available

Scholarships from IT Endowment Fund:

• IT Endowment Fund Scholarships for MS/PhD Computer Sciences and MS Cyber Security at PIEAS:
• For MS a monthly stipend of Rupees. 28,000/- only & for PhD Rupees. 35,000/-only.
• Students have to pledge a bond to serve the country for 5 years after completion of their degree.

Graduate Assistantships Available:

• Graduate Assistantship program allows PhD students within PIEAS to serve as TA/RA/Lab Engr for 9 contact hours in regular semester and 3 contact hours in summer semester.
• Selected students will be awarded Rupees. 35,000/- per month scholarship only.

Application Processing Fee BS | MS | PhD:

• On-line submission within due date:-Rupees. 3,500/-
• On-line submission within one week after due date-Rupees. 5,000/-
• There will be no bank service charges for submission of fee through any branch of Askari Bank Limited (AKBL).
• However payment through Mobile Banking Apps or Internet Banking Apps will require additional service charges.
