How to Register

Application Process:

  • Applicants shall access the Online Admission Portal for Postgraduate Programs available on the official website of the University of Health Sciences (UHS) (www.uhs.edu.pk).
  • Applicants shall create an account by providing their full name, father's/guardian's name, email ID, mobile number, and a secure password.
  • The applicant shall first select the program of interest (such as Ph.D., M.Phil., M.S. Nursing, MHPE, MPH, CMT, CME, or CMJE). Thereafter, the specific discipline/subject within the selected program shall be chosen.
  • The application form must be completed by entering personal details, including name, domicile, contact information, address, nationality, gender, and date of birth.
  • Academic qualifications, including details of MBBS, BDS, Master's, BSc, or any other relevant degree, along with marks, year of passing, and awarding university, shall be provided.
  • Applicants shall upload scanned copies of the required documents in compliance with the prescribed file size limit of 2 MB per document.
  • Prior to submission, applicants must read and acknowledge the Undertaking, verifying all provided information and attached documents.
  • The completed application shall be submitted online, upon which a confirmation notification shall be sent to the applicant's registered email.
  • Applicants must download and print both the submitted application and the bank challan for the admission processing fee.
  • The prescribed admission processing fee of Rs.7,000/- (non-refundable) shall be deposited at any branch of The Bank of Punjab (BOP) using the generated fee challan.
  • The fee may also be paid through online banking via 1 Bill.
  • The application process shall be deemed complete only upon successful fee submission.

Admission Criteria:

  • The admission shall be granted on merit only.
  • During the selection process for Ph.D., the following elements shall be considered:
  • Academic record of relevant M.Phil./Master/Equivalent
  • Relevant experience
  • Research publications
  • Demonstration of the ability to pursue doctoral-level research based on the “statement of purpose” at the time of admission.

Important Instructions:

  • Applications shall only be submitted through the Postgraduate Online Admission Portal. Any application that is incomplete or submitted in violation of the prescribed procedure shall be summarily rejected. Non-payment of the processing fee within the stipulated timeframe shall also result in application rejection.
  • Applicants are not required to submit a hard copy of the application. However, they must upload the paid fee challan or bank receipt onto the portal before the application submission deadline.
  • No request for modification, amendment, or rectification of an application shall be entertained after its final submission.
  • The candidature and/or admission of any applicant found to have submitted forged, fake, or fabricated documents or incorrect/false information shall be immediately cancelled.
  • Applicants seeking admission to Ph.D. programs shall be required to submit a Statement of Purpose, which shall form an integral part of the application.
  • The Admission Test Result, Interview Schedule, and Merit Lists shall be published on the official UHS website (www.uhs.edu.pk).
  • Selected candidates must deposit the prescribed admission fee and other dues at any branch of The Bank of Punjab (BOP). Payment may also be made through online banking. Failure to deposit the required fee within the stipulated time shall result in forfeiture of the right to admission.
  • Admission shall be strictly based on merit.
  • Applicants who are in service must get NOC and those applying on a deputation basis must submit their applications through the proper channel.
  • Applicants holding foreign qualifications shall be required to submit an equivalence certificate issued by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC), or Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC), as applicable.
