Botany
  • A candidate seeking admission in M.Phil. degree programs in a subject must possess sixteen years of Education or 4 years BS (minimum 120 credit hours) or equivalent program or Master degree in the subject/related field from any recognized University /Institution with a minimum 50 % marks in annual system or CGPA 2.5 out of 4 in semester system.
  • Valid GAT (General)/ GRE/HAT test with a minimum 50 score will be necessary for admission in M.Phil., and is a pre-requisite as per HEC rules.
Chemistry
  • A candidate seeking admission in M.Phil. degree programs in a subject must possess sixteen years of Education or 4 years BS (minimum 120 credit hours) or equivalent program or Master degree in the subject/related field from any recognized University /Institution with a minimum 50 % marks in annual system or CGPA 2.5 out of 4 in semester system.

How to Register

Application Process:

  • MPhil/Ph.D. Degree program will be open to all who meet the admission criteria. However, serving candidates (government) will have to submit NOC from their respective department with application form.
  • Study leave document from their respective employer (government) for a period of two years for M.Phil. and four years for Ph.D. has to be submitted at the time of registration.
  • The candidate will be a full-time regular student to cover the course work and the research.
  • For registration and downloading the application form, please visithttp://www.sbkwu.edu.pk .
  • Application form will be available online only. (v). The forms can be downloaded from the university website and can be submitted to the Graduate Studies Office, SBKWU during the office timings.
  • Admission processing fee Rupees. 3000/- (Non-refundable) is payable through Bank Challan, in HBL-Collection Account: 0025117000198301, at HBL-SBKWU branch, Quetta.
  • Application form along with attested photocopies of all educational certificates (Matric, Intermediate, Bachelor, Master or MS/M.Phil.), Detailed Marks Certificates (Matric, Intermediate, Bachelor, Master or MS/M.Phil.), recent photographs, Original Bank Challan, No objection Certificate (in case of Govt. Servant), Form-B, Local/ Domicile Certificate, CNIC, character certificate issued by last attended institution (04 copies of all certificates) should be submitted.
  • Students awaiting results will not be entertained.
  • Applicants will appear for an interview after being shortlisted and must present their original documents to the Departmental Admission Committee.
  • Admissions and commencement of classes are subjected to the final decision of the Departmental Admission Committee.
  • Merit List will be displayed at the website of SBKWU.
