Eligibility Criteria

PhD Eligibility:

Program	Eligibility
Arabic	MPhil Arabic/ MS Arabic or equivalent degree with at least 60% marks or 3.00 CGPA equivalent. Passing the Written Test and interview conducted by the Department Concerned based on 70% passing marks.
Shariah	LLM Shariah and Law at least in first division (60%) or CGPA 3.00 or equivalent. OR MS Shariah at least in first division (60%) or CGPA 3.00 or equivalent OR LLM Shariah at least in first division (60%) or CGPA 3.00 or equivalent. Witten Test and interview will be conducted by the Department Concerned based on 60% passing marks.
Quran and Tafseer	Master degree in Islamic studies with eighteen years of schooling (MS/MPhil in Islamic Studies) or equivalent from any recognized university in first division or CGPA 3.00. Departmental Test/Interview by the Ph.D. Admission Committee

• Continuing students can register courses in CMS at following link: https://enrollment.aiou.edu.pk
• Fee can be deposited in any branch of ABL, MCB, FWBL and NBP OR U paisa, Easy paisa and Jazz Cash.
• Under the university's new policy, international students from around the world can now enroll in Matric, Intermediate, Associate Degree, BS (selected programs), B. Ed, and PGD programs.
• These programs are offered through an online management system. Students can submit their assignments online, and exams will also be conducted through the online system.
• Prospectus and admission forms can be downloaded from the website https://aiou.edu.pk.
