Eligibility |
MPhil Applied Economics |
- A 4-year Bachelor's degree (completed with at least 2.0 CGPA) from any HEC-recognized university, or a conventional MA/MSc (completed with at least 60% marks) in Economics, Business, Commerce, Accounting, Statistics, or Mathematics.
- Students with a degree other than Economics are required to study deficiency courses recommended by the departmental admissions committee.

MPhil Biotechnology |
- A 4-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent from any HEC-recognized university in any of the life sciences including: Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Botany, Zoology and Medical Lab Technology.
- Minimum CGPA of 2.0 or a 1st division (60% marks) in the last awarded degree.
- NOTE: Acceptance is based upon the 1) Departmental Test, 2) Postgraduate Entrance Admission Test (PEAT), 3) interview, and 4) an overall evaluation of the candidate, including: academic achievement, statement of purpose and English language proficiency.

MPhil Education |
- BS Education or B.Ed. (4 years) or B.Ed. (Hons) or B.Ed. 2.5 (after 14 years qualification) or B.Ed. 1.5 (after 16 years qualification) or MA Education or M.Ed.
- The candidates having sixteen (16) years of qualification in disciplines other than Education will be considered on a case-to-case basis and the enrolled candidates shall be required to complete deficiency courses recommended by the departmental admissions committee.
- Minimum 2.0 CGPA out of 4.0 in the semester system.
- Minimum second division in the conventional MA/MSc program.
- NOTE: Acceptance is based upon the 1) Departmental Test, 2) Postgraduate Entrance Admission Test (PEAT), 3) interview, and 4) an overall evaluation of the candidate, including: academic achievement, statement of purpose and English language proficiency.
- Provisional admission can be sought by students awaiting final results. Their admission will only be confirmed once they have submitted their complete official Transcript within the due dates

MPhil Environmental Sciences |
- A 4-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent from any HEC-recognized university with a major in Environmental Sciences or in any of the related fields including: Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Agricultural Sciences, Forestry, MBBS, BDS, DVM, Pharmacy, or relevant Engineering disciplines.
- A conventional MSc in Natural Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology) with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Minimum CGPA of 2.0 or 1st division (60% marks) in the last awarded degree.

MPhil Urdu |
- A 4-year Bachelor's degree from any HEC-recognized university in the discipline of Urdu with a minimum of 2.0 CGPA.
- A conventional MA in Urdu, English, or Persian with a minimum of 45% marks. In case of MA in English or Persian, the applicant must have studied Urdu in the Bachelor's degree.

MPhil Molecular Pathology and Genomics |
- A 4-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent from any HEC-recognized university in any of the life sciences including: Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Botany, Zoology and Medical Lab Technology.
- Minimum CGPA of 2.0 or a 1st division (60% marks) in the last awarded degree.

- A 4-year Bachelor's degree from any HEC-recognized university in either Physics or Mathematics with a minimum of 2.0 CGPA. OR
- A conventional MSc in Physics or Mathematics with a minimum of 60% marks.

MPhil Political Science |
- A 4-year Bachelor's degree (completed with at least 2.0 CGPA) from any HEC-recognized university or a conventional MA/MSc (completed with at least 60% marks) in Political Science, International Relations, History, Sociology, or any related discipline.

MPhil Statistics |
- A 4-year Bachelor's degree from any HEC recognized university in the discipline of Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or any related discipline with a minimum CGPA of 2.0. Students with a minor in Statistics are eligible to apply. OR
- A conventional MSc in Statistics or Biostatistics with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Students with a degree other than Statistics are required to study deficiency courses recommended by the departmental admissions committee.

MS Computer Science |
- A 4-year Bachelor's degree in (Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology)
- Computer Science Conversion Course 2-year degree referred to as MCS or MSc (CS/SE/IT).
- 16-year Science and Engineering graduates are eligible to apply but they have to cover deficiency.
- All degrees must have been obtained from HEC-recognized local/foreign institutions.
- Minimum CGPA of 2.0 or a 1st division (60% marks) in the last awarded degree.
