How to Register

Application Process:

  • Visit online admission portal admissions.uettaxila.edu.pk and click on MY UET button for registration with UET Taxila.
  • For registration click registration button and provide the following information.
  • CNIC/Form B number without dashes.
  • Set your password
  • ECAT Roll No. (Not Required for BS Mathematics and Physics)
  • Sign in now.
  • Fill the personnel information educational information, applicable options and preference and submit it online.
  • The applicant can sign in again and again in to see/edit his/her data until the submission of application online.
  • While filling the preference table, fill the column for preference very carefully. The order of preference once given shall be final and cannot be changed subsequently of the submission of application for online.
  • Under the column Category choose only among A (open merit), S (Partially Subsidized) and X (children of overseas Pakistani). The other categories will be adjusted automatically depending upon his applicable option.
  • As per schedule mentioned atadmissions.uettaxila.edu.pk check merit lists.
  • If the name of applicant appears in the merit list, he will visit his "My UET" account for further instructions.
  • The applicant will upload all required documents as per the instructions at "My UET" account.
  • Important consideration in next merit lists: Admissions are granted on merit and according to preferences given by the applicants. An applicant who secures admission in a discipline of his lower preference and he desires to be considered in next merit lists, MUST pay the 1st semester dues of university and upload all the required documents on "My UET" account. If he fails to do so, his name would be excluded from any future merit lists and his admission would be cancelled.
  • Freezing in any given Discipline and Category If an applicant requests in writing to retain the discipline and category in which he has been selected for admission on merit, then he will not have any right to claim his admission in any other discipline and category of higher or lower merit if a seat falls vacant in any discipline. Applicant desiring to freeze category/discipline should have to apply in person on prescribed form for this purpose before the next merit list is displayed.
  • Forfeiture of Right for Admission A selectee who fails to fulfill the requirements laid down in 29.1 and 29.2 (Admission 2024 Guidelines / Prospectus) within the prescribed time limit shall forfeit his right of admission and will not be considered in subsequent merit lists.
  • Provisional Admission On fulfillment of the obligations mentioned in 29.1 and 29.2 (Admission 2024 Guidelines / Prospectus) a selectee will be admitted to the university. This admission shall, however, be provisional un till all the original degrees or certificates, submitted by him, have been verified for their veracity.
  • (Only those candidates are eligible to apply who appeared in ECAT-2024 (Phase-I and Phase-II)/Equivalent. Entry Test is not required for BS Physics and Mathematics.)

Note:

  • All PhD applicants are required to qualify: -
  • Test (equivalent of GRE/ HAT General) with minimum 60% passing score conducted by the University OR
  • GRE/HAT General test conducted by testing bodies accredited by HEC, with passing score of 60%.
  • All the students admitted in Postgraduate programs will pay the fee as per prescribed policy by the University.
  • In case of their selection in any funded project/engaged by the University, scholarship/ stipend will be provided as per University Rules.
  • UET Rules and Regulations mentioned in the Prospectus/Rules & Regulations for Postgraduate Programs Booklet including the University current policy approved by the Academic Council/Syndicate will be applicable.
  • NOC is required from employer (where applicable).
  • It is mandatory for all applicants to deposit the application fee Rs.2000/- on Bank Challan/ Deposit Slip payable at HBL UET Taxila Branch or online Deposit in Account No.19157900213501 of HBL UET Taxila Branch or send the Postal Order/Bank Draft (non-refundable) in favor of Treasurer UET Taxila along with application form completed in all respects to the Office of Chairman of the concerned Department as per schedule
