- MBBS graduate from one of the recognized medical University / college shown in schedule I and II of the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council.
- Valid Registration with Pakistan Medical and Dental Council Practitioner.
- One Year resident house job in PMDC recognized institution.
- Candidate who have completed two years training in relevant Allied Sciences.
- Foreign Graduates will have to produce equivalence of their degree from PMDC.

| Fellowship Program in Interventional Cardiology |
- MBBS from an institution recognized by the PMDC, with minimum score of 55 percent and above.
- Minimum of three years of residency/ fellowship training in Cardiology.
- FCPS part II in Adult Cardiology or MD Cardiology or equivalent is mandatory.
