MPhil Botany
  • BSc (Hons) / MSc (Botany) with a minimum of 2.5 CGPA in semester system or 2nd division in annual system.
MPhil Biochemistry
  • BSc (Hons) / MSc (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Microbiology, Pharmacy, MBBS, BDS) with a minimum of 2.5 CGPA in semester system or 2nd division in annual system.
MPhil Biotechnology
  • BS / MSc (Biotechnology, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Agriculture, Veterinary Sciences) with a minimum of 2.5 CGPA in semester system or 2nd division in annual system.
MPhil Chemistry (Organic, Inorganic, Physical, Analytical, Environmental)
  • BSc (Hons) / MSc (Chemistry) with a minimum of 2.5 CGPA in semester system or 2nd division in annual system.
MS Computer Science
  • MCS / MSc. Computer Science, MIT, BCS (Hons), with a minimum of 2.5 CGPA in semester system or 2nd division in annual system.
MSc (Hons) Agronomy

MSc (Hons) Entomology
  • BSc (Hons) / BS / MSc in Entomology, Plant Protection, Zoology, or any other relevant fields with a minimum of 2.5 CGPA in semester system or 2nd division in annual system.
MSc (Hons) Horticulture
  • B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture (Horticulture) with a minimum of 2.5 CGPA in semester system or 2nd division in annual system.
MS Economics
  • BS (Hons) / MA / MSc in Economics with a minimum of 2.5 CGPA in semester system or 2nd division in annual system.
MS Development Studies
  • Sixteen years of education (MA/MSc/MBA or BS/BBA/B.Com in relevant fields) with a minimum of 2.50 CGPA or 2nd division.
MS Public Policy & Governance
  • Sixteen years of education with a minimum of 2.5 CGPA or 2nd division.
MS Environmental Sciences
  • BS Environmental Science / Agriculture / Forestry or MSc in relevant fields with a minimum of 2.5 CGPA or 2nd division.
MPhil International Relations
  • Master in IR, Political Science, Peace and Conflict Studies, Regional/Area Study Centre with a minimum of 2.5 CGPA or 2nd division.
MPhil Education
  • BS Education, B.Ed 1.5, MA Education & M.Ed with a minimum of 2.5 CGPA or 2nd division.
MPhil English
  • BS (English)/MA (English) with a minimum of 2.5 CGPA or 2nd division.
MPhil Islamic Studies
  • BA (Hons) / MA (Islamic Studies) or equivalent with a minimum of 2.5 CGPA or 2nd division.
MS Management Sciences
  • BBA (Hons) / B.Com (4 Years) / BS-Banking & Finance (Hons) or MBA (2 Years) with a minimum of 2.5 CGPA or 2nd division.
MBA 2 Years General
  • 16 years of education in any discipline or BBA (4 years), BCOM (4 years), MCOM (2 years) with a minimum of 2.5 CGPA or 2nd division.
MBA 2 Years Executive
  • 16 years of education in any discipline with a minimum of 2.5 CGPA or 2nd division, plus 3 years of professional experience.
MPhil Pharmaceutical Sciences
  • Pharm-D with a minimum of 2.5 CGPA in semester system or 2nd division in annual system.
MPhil Physics
  • BS / MSc in Physics with a minimum of 2.5 CGPA in semester system or 2nd division in annual system.
MPhil Political Science
  • BS / MA in Political Science with a minimum of 2.5 CGPA in semester system or 2nd division in annual system.
MPhil Mathematics
  • BS / MSc in Mathematics with a minimum of 2.5 CGPA in semester system or 2nd division in annual system.
MPhil Sociology
  • BS/MA/MSc Sociology with a minimum of 2.5 CGPA in semester system or 2nd division in annual system of examination.
MS Tourism & Hospitality
  • BS / MA in relevant field with a minimum of 2.5 CGPA in semester system or 2nd division in annual system.
LLM
  • LLB with at least 3.00 CGPA in semester system or 55% aggregate marks in annual system.
MPhil Statistics
  • BS / MSc in Statistics with a minimum of 2.5 CGPA in semester system or 2nd division in annual system.
MPhil Zoology
  • BS / MSc in Zoology with a minimum of 2.5 CGPA in semester system or 2nd division in annual system.
MPhil Pashto
  • BS (Pashto)/ MA (Pashto) or equivalent with a minimum of 2.5 CGPA in semester system or 2nd division in annual system.

How to Register

Requirements for MS/MPNII/MBA and PhD Programs:

  • Applicants are required to submit Rs. 2000/- for MS/ MPhil and Rs. 2500/- for PhD (including test fee) through Kuickpay/Online banking or online generated challan. The candidate must bring the original copy of payment receipt or bank draft at the time of test and interview.
  • Applicants desiring to apply for more than one program are required to submit separate fee for each program in the same manner.
  • Note: Those candidates who have a Valid Score Card of GAT (General/Subject) may also appear in the University test.
  • The University test follows NTS pattern.
  • No separate calls will be made to the candidates, the applicants must visit University official website www.awkum.edu.pk for updates regarding roll no, test date and venue.
  • For the entry test candidates shall bring along their CNIC, application acknowledgment and payment receipt.
  • If selected and called for an interview, a candidate shall bring original and attested photocopies of the following documents to the interview committee.
  • All academic transcripts / DMCs and certificates
  • Valid Test Score card
  • C.N.I.C.
  • Domicile certificate
  • 3 recent passport size photos
  • Character certificate
  • NOC in case of government servant
  • Undertaking on a judicial stamp paper of Rs. 100/- as per specimen available
