University of Narowal Opens Fall Semester Admissions

The University of Narowal announces admissions for BS (four-year) and MPhil (two-year) degree programs for the fall semester of 2025.

This year, admissions are being made in 22 different departments on a regular and self-supporting basis in BS programs, while admissions are being made in 9 departments in MPhil programs.

The last date for submission of admission forms for regular BS and MPhil programs has been fixed as August 15, 2025.

Classes for all programs will start on September 29, 2025. All admissions will be made online on the basis of merit, taking into account the results of the intermediate (first year).

Interested candidates can apply online on the official website of the university, www.uon.edu.pk.

FBISE Announces 9th and 10th Results

The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Islamabad, has announced the results of the annual examinations of classes 9 and 10 for the year 2025.

This time again, the female students were the position holders; no educational institution of the Federal Directorate of Education could get any position.

According to the results, Amna Nasir of Lahore Grammar School and Maryam Nadeem of Army Public School Mahfouz Road Rawalpindi took first place in the science group with 1093 marks. With 1087 points, the Mal Wah Connexion came in second, followed by Amlah Foundation School and College Misrial Road Rawalpindi's Alisha Saqib and Army Public School and College Girls Attock's Fatima Wajid, who came in third with 1083 marks.

In the Humanity Group, Sanai Bibi from Shining Star Public School, Allama Iqbal Colony, Rawalpindi Cantt, secured first position with 1045 marks; Abdul Rehman from the Institute of Islamic Science, Satra Mile, Islamabad, secured second position with 1029 marks; and Muhammad Sufyan Ahmed from the same institution secured third position with 1022 marks.

Federal Minister for Education Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, the principal guest, spoke at the event and claimed that it is our success that gifted Pakistani youngsters now have a place in the world. I commend the pupils that accomplished this.

He said that China, instead of making the population a burden, made it its strength. In this way, we also have to focus on our young generation. The major need of today's education is to acquire skills.
