The Punjab Pension Fund (PPF) operates under the Punjab Pension Fund Act, 2007. It is a body corporate tasked with the secure and profitable placement of investment funds from the pension reserve fund of the Government of Punjab. As part of its operational expansion, the Punjab Pension Fund seeks applications for multiple positions on a contractual basis.

Job Description:

The following positions are open at the Punjab Pension Fund:

1. Chief Accounting Officer
2. Risk Manager
3. Compliance Officer
4. Research Analyst

Responsibilities:

Chief Accounting Officer

• Oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Manage accounting policies and procedures.
• Provide strategic financial advice to senior management.

Risk Manager

• Manage the risk assessment framework.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies.
• Monitor investment-related risks.

Compliance Officer

• Ensure regulatory compliance in accounting, legal, and operational domains.
• Address compliance-related issues in coordination with management.

Research Analyst

• Conduct investment research and portfolio analysis.
• Evaluate credit ratings and appraisals.
• Assist in financial modeling and forecasting.

Requirements:

Chief Accounting Officer

• Chartered Accountant (ICAP/ICMAP) or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in accounting/finance.

Risk Manager

• Sixteen years of education in Finance, Risk, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in risk assessment or management.

Compliance Officer

• Sixteen years of education in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the financial services sector.

Research Analyst

• Sixteen years of education in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in investment research or a related field.
