BISE Shaheed Benazirabad and ICMA Pakistan Sign MoU to Offer Scholarships

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Shaheed Benazirabad has signed an MoU with the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMA Pakistan).
Dr. Asif Ali Memon, Chairman of the BISE Shaheed Benazirabad, and Mr. Lal Muhammad Lakhan, Senior Director of ICMA Pakistan, formalized the strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Board Office today.
The understanding inaugurates a powerful commitment to advancing student careers through financial aid, academic recognition, and professional skill development throughout the region.
Direct Support for High Achievers
The core of this collaboration is a robust scholarship and concession program tailored to reward merit and support socio-economic needs.
The key financial incentives for students enrolling in ICMA Pakistan programs include:
- 100% Full Scholarship: Exclusively for the top 10 position holders across all academic groups.
- 75% Tuition Scholarship: For students who achieve a score of 85% or above in their examinations.
- 50% Tuition Scholarship: Granted to students with scores of 75% or higher.
- 50 Full Scholarships: Designated for genuinely needy students under the Pakistan Baitul Mal, based on the Board's recommendation.
- 25% Fee Concession: Offered to the education board’s current staff and their immediate family members.
The board will hold an annual appreciation ceremony, jointly honoring the 100 most outstanding students from every educational group for their hard work and success.
The partnership extends beyond scholarships inThe BISE-SBA will actively collaborate with ICMA Pakistan on joint research projects, ensuring that academic efforts contribute directly to professional development within the accounting field.
Furthermore, the agreement provides benefits for the board's team, offering Shaheed Benazirabad Board employees a 25% discount on ICMA training programs nationwide, fostering continuous professional learning.
“It is the core belief and vision of the Sindh government that financial constraints should never block the path of capable and intelligent students pursuing higher education and a strong career,” stated Dr. Asif Ali Memon during the signing ceremony.
Dr. Memon emphasized that the MoU is a clear reflection of the Board’s dedication to providing elite opportunities and ensuring student achievements are recognized nationally.
