Job Description:

The Visiting Faculty member will be responsible for teaching the Japanese Language Course on a per-lecture basis, focusing on improving students' proficiency in Japanese. The role includes delivering structured lessons, evaluating student progress, and ensuring high-quality language instruction in alignment with TEVTA standards.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lesson Planning & Delivery:

    • Develop and deliver comprehensive Japanese language lessons tailored to student needs.
    • Provide interactive and engaging teaching sessions.
  2. Student Evaluation:

    • Assess students' language proficiency and provide constructive feedback.
    • Conduct regular assessments and maintain records of progress.
  3. Curriculum Development:

    • Contribute to developing and improving the Japanese language course curriculum.
    • Integrate cultural elements to enhance students' understanding of Japanese language and traditions.
  4. Administrative Duties:

    • Prepare lesson plans, progress reports, and maintain attendance records.
    • Participate in department meetings and comply with institutional policies.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum Qualification:

    • Must have N3 Level Certification in Japanese or equivalent.
    • At least 2 years of teaching experience in the Japanese language.
