CM Maryam orders character-building classes in Punjab schools

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif approved the introduction of character-building classes in schools.
Maryam Nawaz Sharif gave the order to launch the "Education on Wheel" pilot project in Lahore after presiding over a six-hour meeting to assess performance in all Punjabi departments and the status of all ongoing projects.
According to the meeting's briefing, 50,000 courses would be offered via Google Scholars to give Punjabi students access to cutting-edge international training.
Ninety percent of Punjab's colleges have finished appointing regular principals.
The process for selecting the chairman, secretary, and controller of education boards has been approved in principle.
While milk packs were provided as part of the School Meal Program, enrollment increased by 47%.
1.5 million benches will be supplied to schools and 1.1 million milk packets will be recycled as part of a special project to improve Punjab's environment and education.
There are currently 1600 classrooms in Punjab, and another 22,000 will be finished in three months.
Punjab schools' infrastructure continued to be improved under PSRP.
There will be more than 500 classrooms, 3036 roofs, and 4377 toilets repaired.
There are 1643 water tanks and up to 23,000 items of furniture in schools.
The Chief Minister ordered 44 buses to be sent as soon as possible to Punjab's girls' colleges.
It was also explained that 110,000 students will receive computers and 140,000 students would receive scholarships under the Honhar Scholarship Scheme.
Every young person in Punjab would have access to education, technology, and training, as well as a home for laborers and a healthy environment.
Under Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif's leadership, new initiatives were started and accountability for the performance of all Punjabi institutions was maintained.
In order to promote sports and healthful activities, she gave the order to open school grounds throughout Punjab to the public in the evenings.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has asked for recommendations on how to establish a laptop quota for private institutions and universities in order to provide every diligent student with access to technology.
She instructed the College Management Council to create and submit a proposal.
