The Capital Development Authority (CDA) invites applications for various contract-based positions under Project Pay Scales (PPS) for the design and construction of Jinnah Medical Complex (JMC) in Islamabad. Job Descriptions

1. Project Director (PPS-11)

• Oversee the overall management of large-scale projects, especially hospital or educational infrastructure projects.
• Ensure efficient planning, execution, and team leadership.

2. Procurement & Contracts Specialist (PPS-10)

• Manage procurement and contract operations for institutional projects.
• Implement public procurement rules and contractual laws.

3. Chief Architect (PPS-10)

• Lead the design of architectural projects for large-scale facilities.
• Prepare architectural drawings and project visualization tools.

4. E&M Engineer (PPS-09)

• Design and manage electrical and mechanical systems for large-scale projects.
• Familiarity with hospital-grade systems is preferred.

5. Planning Engineer (PPS-09)

• Plan and schedule project resources effectively using tools like Primavera or MS Project.
• Manage resource allocation and ensure timely project delivery.

6. QS Engineer (PPS-08)

• Perform cost estimation, BOQs, and tendering processes.
• Ensure proficiency in QS tools and software.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, execution, and completion within deadlines.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to achieve project goals.
• Ensure compliance with public procurement rules and quality standards.
• Prepare and present progress reports.

Requirements

• Project Director: Master’s in Civil Engineering with 20+ years of experience in large-scale projects.
• Procurement Specialist: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Engineering/Supply Chain with 10–15 years of experience.
• Chief Architect: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Architecture with 15+ years of design experience.
• E&M Engineer: Bachelor’s in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years of system design experience.
• Planning Engineer: Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering with 9+ years of project planning expertise.
• QS Engineer: Bachelor’s in Quantity Surveying/Civil Engineering with 5+ years in cost estimation and tendering.
